In Ha Long City - the capital city of the province, recently, localities and businesses have launched "Green Sunday", collecting waste, beautifying the landscape and environment on streets, residential areas, beaches and famous tourist spots. In addition, the city's interdisciplinary inspection team also inspected tourism service activities of a number of restaurants and cruise ships in the area, especially in key tourist areas such as Bai Chay ward.

Through inspection, all tourism service business units ensure conditions for tourism accommodation business, business registration according to the provisions of law; meet conditions on security and order, fire prevention, food safety, environmental protection; ensure conditions of technical facilities and services for tourists.

Along with Ha Long City, during the holiday, Mong Cai City will organize a series of special cultural, artistic and sports activities, such as: Cross-border football tournament, announcement of new beaches and tourist areas, organization of food fairs... The most special is the art program "Mong Cai - Rising in the new era" taking place on the evening of April 30 at the City's Cultural and Information Center Square, including: Art program; fashion show; drone light performance of tourist attractions, fireworks...

According to Nguyen Ngoc Duong, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Mong Cai City, in order to ensure a civilized tourism environment and prevent cases of "ripping off" tourists, the inspection work is being stepped up by the Market Management force in the area. In particular, focusing on tourist destinations targeting international visitors, posting prices in multiple languages ​​to ensure transparency and public information about prices. The Department of Culture, Science and Information of the city also proactively monitors and strictly handles violations by organizations and individuals in complying with the law on tourism business, ensuring that people and tourists have access to good quality services and absolute safety.

In Co To district, with the characteristics of sea and island tourism, functional units have inspected passenger boats and units organizing tours for tourists on the island. At the same time, they have inspected, discussed and guided the owners of the vehicles, organizations and individuals inspected to promptly correct the shortcomings and limitations. For units that repeat violations, they will be strictly handled according to the provisions of the law.

Along with the efforts of the authorities at all levels, businesses are also ready to welcome guests during the peak season. Hotels and resorts have invested in repairing, upgrading, improving rooms, improving service quality, many new hotels with unique models have been put into operation, meeting the accommodation needs of tourists. Some accommodation establishments have reduced service prices by 10-20% to stimulate tourism. Units focus on maximizing the flow of guests in groups of families, companies, schools, increasing accompanying amenities, such as: Discounts on health care service packages, conference rooms, sound, lighting... to attract tourists.

Identifying the locality as one of the key tourist destinations during major holidays and this summer, the Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 954/UBND-VHXH on ensuring reception and service for tourists during the April 30-May 1 holiday and the peak tourist season in 2025. Accordingly, agencies, units, localities and enterprises in the province are required to implement solutions to improve service quality, carry out reception and service for people and tourists to visit and travel safely and effectively, leaving a good impression on the image of Quang Ninh tourism.

According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Viet Dung, the Department has directed travel agencies, service providers and tourism establishments to have attractive price policies for people and tourists to choose during the week (avoiding local overload) and extending the length of stay of tourists. At the same time, inspect, monitor, promptly detect and strictly handle violations of the law in the field of tourism, especially illegal tourism and travel businesses that affect the tourism image of the province. The Department also organizes propaganda on civilized tourism behavior throughout the province; continuously and effectively operates the hotline, promptly provides information and resolves complaints of tourists in the area.

The Department of Construction and the Provincial Police coordinate with localities to review and install additional signs, traffic diversion and take measures to ensure safety, prevent congestion, and facilitate tourists' access to tourist areas and spots; avoid overloading at tourist centers, beaches, bus stations, wharves, and inland waterways. At the same time, improve the quality of transportation services, ensure safety for tourists when participating in traffic, especially at high-risk points for traffic congestion and accidents; regularly inspect and strictly handle violations at wharves, bus stations, airports, and inland waterways; inspect traffic safety in tourist transportation; strengthen management of residence and accommodation at hotels, motels, and rental apartments to ensure security and order, and prevent loss of state budget revenue.
