Ready for the groundbreaking ceremony of Bestway factory project at VSIP Can Tho Industrial Park

Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones Management Board discussed with VSIP Joint Stock Company about preparations for the factory's groundbreaking ceremony.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the Bestway factory at VSIP Can Tho Industrial Park is scheduled to take place on April 25, 2025 in Vinh Trinh Commune, Vinh Thanh District, Can Tho City. The event is jointly organized by VSIP Can Tho and Bestway International Company. This is one of four projects registered by the Can Tho City People's Committee with the Government Office and the Ministry of Construction to start construction and inaugurate to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

According to VSIP Can Tho Joint Stock Company, Bestway is the first secondary factory to start up in VSIP Can Tho Industrial Park. This is one of the world's leading manufacturers of outdoor sports and entertainment products, especially inflatable products, established in 1994. With more than 13 branches in Europe and America, Bestway's products are present in more than 120 countries, accounting for about 1/3 of the global market share in the inflatable entertainment product segment. The investment in building a factory in VSIP Can Tho is a strategic step in expanding Bestway's production in the Asia-Pacific region. With a total investment of nearly 200 million USD, a scale of 28.6 hectares, the factory is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026 and promises to create more than 5,000 jobs, serving both export and domestic markets, contributing to the economic development of the Mekong Delta region.

At the meeting, the Management Board of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones requested VSIP Can Tho Joint Stock Company to urgently and thoroughly prepare all contents related to the Bestway factory's groundbreaking ceremony. Accordingly, develop a detailed program for the groundbreaking ceremony, assign specific responsibilities to each department, and ensure that the ceremony takes place solemnly and effectively. Pay special attention to the reception and guidance of guests, arrange a reasonable parking area, ensure safety, hygiene and aesthetics. It is necessary to prepare complete documents and accurate data about the project, emphasizing information on investment scale, production capacity, and contribution to the city's socio-economic development. At the same time, regularly report the preparation progress to the Management Board for timely direction and support.
