Ready for Khau Vai Festival and impressive tourist season in Ha Giang

According to information from the People's Committee of Ha Giang province, the series of cultural and tourism activities and the Khau Vai Phong Luu Market Festival in 2025 are of special significance, not only contributing to the celebration of the glorious historical milestone of the nation but also an opportunity to introduce and promote the unique cultural values, imbued with the identity of Ha Giang. The province is making efforts to implement extensive communication and promotion activities, while carefully preparing the content and necessary conditions to successfully organize this series of events.

Up to now, departments, branches and localities in the province have coordinated to develop detailed plans for many attractive activities. Coming to Ha Giang during the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to visit a diverse display space about Ha Giang tourism culture, enjoy the typical tea flavor of the highlands at the Ha Giang tea culture space.

The special art program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South, national reunification and 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art promises to bring impressive and emotional performances.

In addition, the exhibition and introduction of the colorful traditional costumes of the ethnic groups in Ha Giang, along with the book “Travel: Colorful costumes of Vietnamese ethnic women” will be a special cultural highlight. The vibrant folk dance performances will also contribute to creating a bustling and attractive festival atmosphere.

Meo Vac District, famous for the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark, will be the center of the Khau Vai Festival 2025. With the theme “Khau Vai Returns”, the festival will take place over 3 days from April 22 to 24, 2025, promising to bring visitors unique and profound cultural experiences.

The art program imbued with national identity, traditional costume contest, cultural and artistic exchange activities, nightingale singing contest, rice cake pounding contest and unique folk games such as throwing con, playing swallow, throwing pao, climbing the pole to conquer love will surely captivate visitors.

Not only in Meo Vac, the districts in the Geopark area are also actively developing plans to organize activities in response to the festival. Yen Minh district will recreate traditional cultural activities such as the Golden Cow Strength Competition, crossbow shooting, spinning tops, fishing in streams, going to Cau Kieu, along with culinary activities with strong local flavors.

Dong Van District will host the 10th Mong Panpipe Festival - Street Parade in 2025, a unique cultural event, while also celebrating major national holidays. The opening night of the festival will be broadcast live on the HGTV Fanpage, promising to attract a large audience.

Quan Ba ​​District is equally exciting with the 2025 Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival, including an impressive opening ceremony, attractive ethnic sports, unique cultural and artistic competitions, along with performances of traditional crafts and unique local cuisine.
