Active preparation work
After the meeting and connection program for outstanding and typical Ha Tinh youth and students working and studying in Hanoi in June 2023, in the near future (mid-November 2023), Ha Tinh province and the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association will jointly organize a meeting program for outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh businessmen in the Southern region.

The program creates opportunities for exchange and meeting for outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh businessmen in the southern provinces, encouraging the children of the homeland to strive to promote the tradition of studiousness and the will to rise of the land and people of Ha Tinh, providing information and introducing job opportunities, connecting high-quality human resources with businesses.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on the morning of November 12 at the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Hall with the participation of young people, students, businessmen from the southern provinces and leaders of several central ministries and branches, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, leaders of provincial departments, branches, and leaders of several major universities and academies nationwide.

To prepare for the program, based on the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, starting from August 2023, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directly worked with the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association to deploy related contents; at the same time, coordinated with the City Youth Union, universities and academies in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Hong Lam Scholarship Fund to review and provide a list and information of Ha Tinh youth with excellent, typical, and outstanding achievements, and students facing difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well.
According to information from Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union - the agency in charge of advising the program, up to now, the unit has screened nearly 200 outstanding students from more than 60 universities in Ho Chi Minh City. These are students who have graduated with excellent grades or are valedictorians in the last 2 years; students currently studying with excellent cumulative scores; final year students with good cumulative scores up to the final year introduced by the City Youth Union, Youth Union of universities; outstanding students with the will to overcome difficulties introduced by the Hong Lam Scholarship Fund...
Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Ny Huong said: “This meeting program continues to demonstrate the great concern and encouragement of the provincial leaders for Ha Tinh youth and students living far from home. It is a meaningful opportunity for young people to grasp the socio-economic situation of the province, important policies and guidelines; at the same time, access information and job opportunities at enterprises. The Southern Ha Tinh Business Association has actively coordinated and accompanied the Provincial Youth Union to prepare for the meeting and support for young people and students.”
Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union officials reviewed the list of outstanding young people and students to attend the upcoming program.
Connecting with Ha Tinh businesses in the Southern region is a new feature of this meeting program. This method not only shares and connects fellow countrymen, shares experiences, inspires entrepreneurship and multiplies job opportunities for young people and students.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Dan - Chairman of the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association said: “Currently, the association has connected and invited representatives of Southern businesses to participate in the program. Also within the framework of the program, businesses will open job introduction booths for Ha Tinh students and youth in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the Southern provinces in general to find job opportunities for themselves. We hope that from this program, the young generation of Ha Tinh children in all regions in general and the South in particular will continue to unite, promote the will and aspiration to contribute, multiply good values, and contribute to building the development of our province”.
Connecting talents, warm homeland love
At the end of October 2023, Nguyen Thi Minh Chau (born in 2001), from Duc Dong commune (Duc Tho), a former student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, received a call from an official of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union informing her about attending an upcoming meeting in Ho Chi Minh City. Minh Chau had just received her graduation certificate in August 2023 with the achievement of being the school's valedictorian.
Minh Chau shared: “This is the first time I have been invited to participate in such a large and meaningful program, so I am excited and extremely proud. The program will be an opportunity for each student and young person to meet and interact with each other and also meet the uncles, aunts and businessmen from Ha Tinh to add to their will, belief and efforts. The program also shows the special attention and great encouragement from the province for us - the children far from home. I feel that I have to be more responsible to be worthy of being a child of Ha Tinh homeland”.
Minh Chau just graduated in August 2023 and is currently working at a passenger transport company in Ho Chi Minh City.
Along with Minh Chau, the program is expected to meet and honor nearly 200 outstanding students and young people from Ha Tinh who are working and studying in Ho Chi Minh City. Through confirmed contact information, they all expressed their joy, anticipation and pride in participating in the program.
Not only meeting students and young people, the program is expected to have about 100 typical businesses meet, bring stories of entrepreneurship, career building and practical job opportunities for young people and students as well as propose and discuss issues of investment and economic development with leaders of Ha Tinh province.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, from Thanh Loc commune (Can Loc) - Director of Thanh Tin Dat Company Limited (Dong Nai) shared: “As soon as we heard about the meeting program, we, Ha Tinh businesses in the South, were very happy and excited. For a long time, the Ha Tinh Business Association in the South has connected and had many meaningful activities with our homeland. This meeting program further affirms the love of our homeland for our children far away from home and vice versa. We are also proud that every Ha Tinh child, regardless of generation, has many talented people, especially the current young generation. The Ha Tinh community in the South in general and businesses in the South in particular will always turn to our homeland, build our homeland and at the same time be responsible for future generations.”
The program to meet outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh businessmen in the Southern region is also a forum for the province to introduce the policies of the Central Government and the province on human resource development; introduce the potential and advantages of Ha Tinh to businesses and investors and connect high-quality human resources.
Ha Tinh has overcome all difficulties and achieved the current results thanks to the important contributions of Ha Tinh children from all over the world. The Party Committee, government and people of the province always respect and hope that children far from home will contribute their efforts and ideas to develop their homeland. The program to meet outstanding youth, students and businessmen in Ho Chi Minh City is an activity connecting generations of Ha Tinh children in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces. The program aims to honor outstanding youth, students, and students in difficult circumstances who have made great achievements in their studies and training, and at the same time to connect them with generations of fellow countrymen and businesses. With the presence of many business owners in Ho Chi Minh City and some southern provinces, it is believed that it will be a bridge for those who have graduated or are about to graduate to have favorable job opportunities. Hopefully, every youth, student, businessman and fellow countrymen, no matter where they are or what they do, will always preserve and promote the identity and character of Ha Tinh people.
