Container cargo throughput through Ba Ria-Vung Tau port continues to rank first in the country

In the first 4 months of 2025, the volume of goods through major seaports in Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Hai Phong, increased sharply. The total volume of goods through the country's seaport system reached more than 342 million tons, an increase of 6% over the same period in 2024. In particular, the volume of container goods reached more than 10 million TEUs, an increase of 6%.

Ba Ria - Vung Tau leads the country with a 19% growth in container throughput compared to the same period last year. It is followed by Ho Chi Minh City with a 10.58% increase, and Hai Phong with a 7.64% increase. This shows the strong development of the port system in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, especially in attracting export goods.
