Samsung Thai Nguyen sponsors over 920 million VND to repair pumping stations in Dai Tu

On the afternoon of April 23, the People's Committee of Dai Tu district and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT) held a signing ceremony for an agreement to sponsor two water restoration projects in the district. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Jin Myong Kook, Deputy General Director of Environmental Safety (SEVT) and leaders of the Environmental Protection Fund (Department of Agriculture and Environment).

According to the agreement, SEVT will sponsor over VND920 million to repair 4 water pumping stations serving production for 160 hectares of rice fields in 4 localities, including: Go Vau Population Group (TDP) and Xuan Dai TDP, Hung Son town; Duoi 3 hamlet, Van Yen commune; Cay Lai hamlet, Na Mao commune. Supported items include: Replacing damaged pumps and pipes; installing additional electrical cabinets; repairing pump houses...

Representatives of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. and Dai Tu District People's Committee signed the sponsorship agreement.

The leaders of Dai Tu district thanked SEVT for its support, thereby contributing to the protection and effective use of water resources in Dai Tu district in particular and Thai Nguyen province in general, helping the locality have water resources to meet the needs of daily life and production. The district also committed to the progress of implementation and effective use of sponsored projects and items.
