On October 10 (Seoul time), the "Best Global Brands" report released by the prestigious Interbrand organization showed that Samsung Electronics achieved a brand value of 100.8 billion USD (up 10% compared to 2023). This helped Samsung rise to 5th place globally for 5 consecutive years and is also the only Asian brand in the top 5.
Since first entering the top 5 (2020), Samsung's brand value has increased by a total of 62% in four years.
Samsung’s efforts to penetrate the mobile AI market and expand AI technology across its entire product line were key drivers of growth, according to Interbrand. The AI competitiveness of Samsung’s semiconductor division also contributed to the increase in brand value.
In addition, Samsung also expands the use of recycled materials in various product lines and cooperates with industry leaders to reduce carbon emissions during device use.
These sustainable efforts and consistent global brand strategy were recognized in Interbrand's assessment.
