Sam Son opens the 2025 summer tourist season with Sam Son Sea Festival - Aspiration to shine

The “Sam Son – Aspiration to Shine” Sea Festival is an event organized by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with Sun Group Corporation. The event was held right before the April 30 holiday, not only bringing an emotional art festival but also the opening ceremony of the vibrant summer tourist season in the coastal city in 2025.

The festival brings a large-scale art program, meticulously invested in both content and performance form. With the theme of honoring traditional values ​​and inspiring the desire to shine, the program promises to take the audience on an emotional artistic journey - where the past and present intersect, tradition and modernity blend in each musical performance.

The 2024 sea festival event attracted more than 300,000 attendees.

The program consists of 3 chapters, taking the audience to explore the land of "spiritual land and talented people", where the important historical and cultural events of the nation are imprinted, up to Thanh land with its aspirations to rise up today. The audience will meet familiar songs such as Que Thanh land of human love, Hello heroic Ma river, Red blood and yellow skin... but with extremely unique and new musical colors.

The Sea Square stage – the heart of the coastal city – will become more brilliant than ever when welcoming famous Vietnamese artists such as diva Thu Minh, singer ST Son Thach, Pham Anh Duy, Luong Nguyet Anh, Dong Hung, Le Anh Dung, My Lam and the band Dong Thoi Gian. They will bring together outstanding performances carefully staged by the prestigious stage director – MC Anh Tuan.

The program will be hosted by two familiar faces in the television industry – MC My Lan and MC Hanh Phuc – who will connect the emotions of thousands of viewers at the event and millions of viewers on television. The program will be broadcast live on TTV channel and the digital platform of Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

The highlight of the festival is the artistic fireworks display in the Sam Son night sky - that brilliant moment not only closes the program impressively but also opens a vibrant summer full of enthusiasm and hope. It is the image of a Sam Son that is changing strongly, vibrantly and more modern every day.

Sam Son Festival – Aspiration to Shine also marks the beginning of a series of rich summer tourism activities that will take place throughout the coming time in the coastal city.

One of the notable stops this summer is Sun World Sam Son Water Park - a modern entertainment complex located right next to the coast. The park owns an international-class water game system, wave pools, high-speed slides and relaxation areas suitable for both adults and children. This promises to be the most attractive summer cooling destination for groups of friends and families, bringing the most refreshing feeling to all visitors.

During the April 30 – May 1 holiday this year, Sam Son Beach Square will become the center of nighttime entertainment with special water music activities taking place every evening during the holiday. The water music performances are elaborately invested, combining sound, light, modern artistic water effects and vivid projection images, promising to bring a satisfying entertainment space for visitors.

Along the square, visitors will encounter a series of cafes, drink stalls, restaurants, street food areas beautifully decorated and diverse in style. This is an ideal place to stop and sip a cup of coffee, enjoy fresh seafood or attractive snacks such as grilled rice paper, coconut ice cream, fragrant grilled skewers...

In addition, entertainment activities for both adults and children are also developing strongly. Mobile game zones, mini electric cars, art check-in areas, street performances, live music... create a joyful and bustling festival atmosphere throughout the evening.
