Focusing on working sessions, connecting service development along with signing two-way cooperation, the "Vietnam - Europe Tourism Promotion Program" is an important event, marking a new step forward in efforts to promote the image of Vietnamese tourism to the European market, while opening up opportunities for extensive cooperation between tourism businesses and the aviation industry of both sides. This is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese tourism industry to promote and introduce friendly, attractive and safe destinations to key European markets in general and the German market in particular.

Mr. Le Duc Canh - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines said: "Since the first flights in 2004, Vietnam Airlines has continuously increased the frequency and put the most modern aircraft into operation to meet the increasing demand of passengers over the past two decades. Up to now, we are operating four direct routes connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City with two major cities in Germany, Frankfurt and Munich, with a total frequency of 14 flights/week. All flights are operated by wide-body aircraft with high-class service quality according to international standards".

On the occasion of the opening of the new route Hanoi - Munich on October 5, 2024 and Ho Chi Minh City - Munich, Vietnam Airlines applies many attractive promotional programs.

The special highlight of the "Vietnam - Europe Tourism Promotion Program" is that Saigontourist Group and Vietnam Airlines have signed an important cooperation agreement with two leading European tourism groups, Studiosus Reisen Muenchen GmbH (Germany) and Kuoni Global Travel Services (Switzerland). Accordingly, Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and Studiosus Reisen Muenchen GmbH (Germany) and Kuoni Global Travel Services (Switzerland) will jointly develop and promote tourism products suitable for tourists coming to Vietnam and Europe, promoting the development of two-way tourism, bringing European tourists to Vietnam and bringing Vietnamese tourists to visit and travel to Europe. This cooperation marks the close connection between the parties, aiming to develop high-quality tourism products, serving the increasing demand of tourists from the German market in particular and Europe in general to Vietnam and vice versa.

Also at this event, Saigontourist Group authorized Saigontourist Travel Services Company (a subsidiary of Saigontourist Group) and Vietnam Airlines to sign an important cooperation agreement with Kuoni Global Travel Services. The parties will work together to improve services and raise brand awareness through joint marketing and promotional activities on each party's marketing channels. This cooperation opens up opportunities for comprehensive cooperation, focusing on developing diverse tourism products to meet the needs of Swiss tourists and other European markets. With a large network of customers worldwide, Kuoni Global Travel Services will support the promotion of Vietnam's tourism image to these markets.

Mr. Pham Huy Binh commented that the signing of the above cooperation agreements is not only an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and European partners, but also demonstrates the determination of Saigontourist Group and Vietnam Airlines in bringing Vietnamese tourism to the world.

Over the past decades, Germany and the German-speaking market have been important international tourist markets for Vietnam tourism as well as Saigontourist Group. According to statistics, the number of German and German-speaking tourists that Saigontourist Group system annually welcomes and serves hundreds of thousands of arrivals, bringing in revenue of thousands of billions of VND. In particular, at hotels, resorts, golf courses, conference centers, seminars... belonging to Saigontourist Group in Ho Chi Minh City and localities nationwide, annually welcome and serve hundreds of thousands of German visitors in particular and the German-speaking market in general, mainly the high-end and business segments, bringing in revenue of thousands of billions of VND.

Saigontourist Travel in 2023 and the first 9 months of 2024 served over 50,000 German guests, and in the opposite direction, brought tens of thousands of Vietnamese guests to participate in German travel itineraries, tours connecting Germany and European countries.
