Land violations, deputy head of Hoa Binh province's propaganda department was removed from all Party positions

On June 23, the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee informed about the results of reviewing and disciplining party members who committed violations during their work.

Due to violations during his time as Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Son district, Mr. Nguyen Vu Chi (now Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department) was disciplined by being removed from all positions in the Party.

After reviewing the disciplinary proposals of Party organizations and the inspection results, the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee found that: Mr. Nguyen Vu Chi, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, during his tenure as Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Son district (term 2016-2021), violated the principle of democratic centralism in the organization and operation of Party organizations and State agencies; Decided to change the land use purpose, lease land, and grant land use right certificates for a land area of ​​5% in violation of the provisions of the law on land.

At the same time, Mr. Chi lacked inspection and supervision, and did not detect that the specialized agency advised on implementing land procedures that were not in accordance with regulations; directly signed decisions on changing land use purposes, leasing land, and granting land use right certificates that were not in accordance with the law.

"Mr. Nguyen Vu Chi's violations are of great nature, extent, and harm, causing bad public opinion among cadres, party members, and people, reducing the prestige of himself and the Party organization, agency, and unit where he works," informed the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee decided to take disciplinary action by removing Mr. Nguyen Vu Chi from all positions in the Party.

In addition, the Standing Committee of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee also decided to remove all Party positions of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Luong Son district.

Mr. Thang was determined to have committed many violations during his tenure as Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Luong Son district.
