Parents of students at Dak Lung school (Le Hong Phong Primary School) have to pay unreasonable fees.
Accordingly, the school has paid more than 19.5 million VND in violations into the district inspectorate's temporary account as prescribed. At the same time, the school has also spent 166 million VND to refund those involved. Specifically, the school has invited parents to sign to receive the remaining fund that the school used against financial principles. Currently, parents whose children are studying at the school have also received the excess and wrongly collected money back.
In addition, the school also refunded the amount of money collected from teachers in violation of regulations. This is the Tet holiday support, April 30 - May 1, for the school's teachers.
Talking to Thanh Nien reporter, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Loan, Principal of Le Hong Phong Primary School, admitted that during her work, she was subjective, did not have a good grasp of financial work, and did not have experience in managing revenue and expenditure.
As Thanh Nien reported, at the end of June 2023, parents of students at Le Hong Phong Primary School filed a complaint accusing the school of overcharging and having many violations in management.
After the press reported, the Dak To District People's Committee established an inspection team to verify the reflections and denunciations of parents. Through work, the district inspectorate discovered many violations at Le Hong Phong Primary School.
Specifically, the management and use of school funds are not transparent; the collection of money from the parents' association fund is not in accordance with legal regulations, the establishment of records of collection and expenditure of association funds is not in accordance with the actual collection and expenditure situation...

In particular, in the first 6 months of 2023, the school made illegal payments and then collected money from teachers. Specifically, on January 13, the school paid 2 million VND in Tet support to each staff and teacher.
However, after transferring the money to the teachers, the school board asked each teacher to return 1.5 million VND for the year-end party, minor repairs, Tet decorations... The entire amount of 33 million VND collected was returned by the treasurer to the principal.
The collection of money was agreed upon by the staff and teachers, but the board of directors did not make a list of the collected money and did not publicly disclose the details of the expenditure.
Similarly, in April, the school also paid 1 million VND/person to support teachers and staff for the April 30 and May 1 holidays. After that, the school board asked the teachers and staff to pay back 800,000 VND/person. The total amount collected by the board was 16.8 million VND.
