Folk colors of the Lady's Festival

The recent Lady Thien Ya Na Festival at the special national architectural and artistic monument of Thap Nhan (Tuy Hoa City) was not only an occasion for believers to express their reverence and gratitude to the Mother of the Land – the deity who taught the people farming and weaving, protected them from natural disasters, and prayed for favorable weather, peaceful lives, and abundant life – but also an opportunity to preserve and promote unique traditional folk cultural values.

The Thap Nhan Tower, a special national architectural and artistic monument, is where the Lady of the Mountain Festival takes place.

Unique cultural activities were held from April 17-19 (corresponding to March 20-22 in the lunar calendar), attracting a large number of participants.

The offerings were respectfully presented to Lady Thien Ya Na by the delegations.

Thousands of people from Phu Yen and several neighboring provinces, including the Cham people from Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan , gathered at Nhan Tower to perform rituals.

Those participating in the Lady's Festival always prioritize preserving traditional cultural aspects when performing the spirit medium ritual.

Betel nuts, fruits, cakes, rice, salt, etc. – these offerings, after being presented to the people, are given away (also known as distributing blessings) to the villagers.
