Which bank has the highest salary?

Based on the figures in the consolidated financial statements published by the banks, Techcombank continues to be the "champion" in employee income in 2024 group. bank salary

Last year, Techcombank spent VND6,894 billion on employee salaries, 5% higher than in 2023, while pre-tax profit reached VND27,538 billion, up more than 20%.

For the whole year, the average income of Techcombank employees "pocketed" nearly 590 million VND, equivalent to nearly 7 taels of SJC gold (converted at year-end price).

At Vietcombank - the bank with the "biggest" pre-tax profit in the system in 2024 with 42,236 billion VND, the average income per employee, although not as high as Techcombank, also increased.

Last year, Vietcombank accounted for employee costs (salaries, allowances, salary contributions and subsidies) at VND12,262 billion, an increase of 5% compared to 2023.

By the end of 2024, Vietcombank will have 24,306 employees, 800 more than the previous year. The average monthly income of employees is estimated at 504 million VND, or 42 million VND/month.

Similarly, at VietinBank , employee costs (salaries, allowances, subsidies and salary-based contributions) in 2024 will also increase by nearly 12% compared to 2023, reaching VND 12,992 billion.

By the end of 2024, this state-owned bank will have 24,731 employees, an increase of 89 people compared to 2023. Thus, last year, it is estimated that on average each VietinBank employee "pocketed" 525 million VND, equivalent to more than 44 million VND/month.

In the "Big4" group, BIDV recorded an average income per employee of VND545 million last year, equivalent to VND45 million/month. This income level increased sharply compared to the average of VND40 million/month in 2023 in the context of BIDV drastically cutting the number of nearly 1,000 people.

Another non-state bank famous for its salary and bonus system is MBBank. In 2024, this bank will spend VND9,381 billion on employees, an increase of 17% compared to 2023. The total number of employees in the whole system at the end of the year is 18,639 people. The average income is estimated at VND42 million/month.

At ACB, the bank said the average income for the whole year of 2024 of employees is 457 million VND/person, equivalent to more than 38 million VND/person/month, an increase of nearly 2 million VND compared to 2023.

HDBank, TPBank, Sacombank, MSB… are also in the group of banks paying an average income of over 30 million/month. At HDBank, the average monthly income is 37.5 million VND/person, higher than in 2023.

TPBank employees are also among the top in the industry in terms of remuneration, with each employee "pocketing" an average of 44.5 million VND/person per month.

The explanatory notes to VPBank's consolidated financial statements also said that the average income of employees increased by more than VND 2 million/month compared to 2023, reaching VND 26.7 million/person/month.

Still in Sacombank, this bank has spent 7,419 billion VND for 18,088 employees in 2024. It is estimated that the average income of each Sacombank employee is 41 million/month, an increase of 4 million VND. Income at Sacombank increased sharply in record profits with net profit reaching 10,087 billion VND.

MSB is also a bank in the high-paying group in the system. The financial statement notes show that the average monthly income of MSB employees is 33.22 million VND/month, 4.4 million VND higher than in 2023.

SeABank employees also have a more exciting income level with an increase of nearly 4 million VND/month, reaching an average of 30.11 million VND/month per person in 2024.

Most notably, NCB suddenly increased its income and entered the group of banks paying employees over 30 million VND/month.

Specifically, the consolidated financial statement notes show that the average monthly income of each NCB employee in 2024 will increase to nearly 31 million VND, an increase of 7.2 million VND compared to 2023.

With this increase, NCB also becomes the bank with the highest increase in employee income in the system.
