Vietnam's vibrant colors at the ASEAN Trade - Food Fair 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden

On June 16, the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden participated in the ASEAN Trade and Food Fair 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. The event was organized by the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm (ACS), in coordination with the embassies of 6 ASEAN countries in Sweden, including Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

The fair attracted special attention from international friends, especially in the context of the Swedish people preparing to celebrate Midsommar - the longest day of the year. The program was attended by the Chairman of the Stockholm City Council, Mr. Olle Burell, representatives of diplomatic missions in Sweden, a large number of ASEAN people and thousands of local tourists.

The Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Sweden brought hundreds of products from many fields such as agricultural products, food, handicrafts, textiles, rattan and bamboo weaving... In particular, dozens of traditional Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls, bread, rice rolls, rice noodles, iced milk coffee, lemon tea were introduced and made a good impression on the Swedish public. The fair is not only an opportunity to promote Vietnamese products, but also an opportunity for the Vietnamese Embassy to convey information about our country's potential in the fields of science, technology, renewable energy, logistics, high-tech agriculture , seafood, tourism, services... At the same time, this event also contributes to bringing Vietnamese brands and national cultural identity to international friends.

Successfully participating in this Fair helps bring the image of the country and people of Vietnam closer to the Swedish people and international friends. This is also an opportunity to promote bilateral relations between Vietnam and Sweden, while celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1969-2024). Participation in this important event has contributed to enhancing exchanges, cooperation and common prosperity between ASEAN countries and Sweden. The Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden also took this opportunity to express pride in the Vietnamese nation and culture, contributing to creating favorable conditions for promoting economic , investment and tourism relations between the two countries.
