On the morning of April 24, the Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized the "I love my Fatherland" flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Everyone was happy, holding the red flag with yellow star in their hands, proudly celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South.

International visitors to Ho Chi Minh City on this occasion were also impressed by the atmosphere filled with faith and patriotism. More than 5,000 Association officials, members, and students of Ho Chi Minh City in red flags with yellow stars participated in the flag-raising ceremony "I love my Fatherland" and the song "The Country is Full of Joy" held at the Student Cultural House, Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area.

As April 30th approaches, cultural and artistic activities, exhibitions, and meetings with historical witnesses are taking place more and more, creating a solemn yet intimate atmosphere. The heroic memories of a time of bombs and bullets, the sacrifices of many generations have been and are being rekindled, reminding today's generation of the great value of peace and independence.
