Bustling Cultural Festival of Ethnic Groups in Gia Lai Province

These days, the mountain town of Pleiku is more bustling with the 4th Gia Lai Province Ethnic Culture Festival in 2025.

The festival attracted nearly 800 artisans from 17 districts, towns and cities in Gia Lai province.

The festival is a meaningful activity towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 79th anniversary of the day Uncle Ho sent a letter to the Congress of Southern Ethnic Minorities in Pleiku (April 19, 1946 - April 19, 2025) and the Cultural Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.

The festival attracted nearly 800 artisans from 17 districts, towns and cities in the province, with many exciting, unique and attractive cultural and artistic activities such as: recreating community living spaces; performing gongs, folk songs, folk dances, traditional musical instruments; demonstrating gong tuning techniques; performing ethnic costumes; walking on artistic stilts; competing in sack jumping and pounding rice with a pair of pestles...

Through these activities, we aim to preserve and promote the unique cultural values ​​of local ethnic groups, contributing to the development of local tourism.
