On the afternoon of March 9, universities, colleges and vocational training institutions were busy completing the final steps for their consulting booths at the 2024 Admissions and Career Counseling Day in Can Tho city.
In 2024, the festival in Can Tho attracted over 140 booths from nearly 100 educational institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and neighboring provinces.

Arriving in Can Tho at noon today, March 9, a group of nearly 20 members from Saigon Technology University (STU) were busy hanging banners, backdrops, and preparing decorations for their school's consulting booths.
Admission information leaflets with cute gifts are ready to be given to candidates at the festival.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu, Communications and Admissions Department, Saigon University of Technology, said that all departments of the school have lecturers who will directly participate in consulting candidates and parents.
Teachers will update the latest information on enrollment, introduce candidates to "everything" about the major and curriculum.
"Everything is ready to welcome the contestants to the festival," said Ms. Thu.

Meanwhile, at the International University area (Ho Chi Minh City National University), besides decorating the consulting room, Huynh Chuong's student group is practicing modern dances that will be performed tomorrow.
"The stage" will be the space around the consulting room, to invite students to participate. There will be exciting performances exclusively for students to join in the fun at the consulting room," said Mr. Chuong.

Also at the festival, many unique technology models were introduced by schools for students to experience for the first time.
Typically, Nam Can Tho University brought an electric car "made by students". Nguyen Hoai Nhan introduced this electric car as a product made by a group of 3 students from Nam Can Tho University.
The vehicle has been recognized by the People's Committee of Can Tho City as an influential and effective initiative, applicable within the city and nationwide.
"Students can admire and experience this special car when they come to the consulting booth of Nam Can Tho University tomorrow," said student Hoai Nhan.

Tomorrow, March 10, the Admissions and Career Counseling Day will be organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper at the campus of Can Tho University (Zone II, 3/2 Street, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City), expected to attract tens of thousands of students from the Western provinces to attend.
This year's festival attracted the participation of more than 140 consulting booths from nearly 100 universities, colleges, secondary schools, study abroad consulting centers and other educational organizations nationwide.

Experts from the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Ministry of National Defense, and universities will directly answer candidates' questions about the high school graduation exam, new regulations on admission, and notes for the 2024 exam and admission season.
Parents and students are invited to attend the festival, admission is free. In addition, parents and students living far away can follow the consultation session live on Tuoi Tre Online and Tuoi Tre newspaper's YouTube channel.
