Straw on the road, straw on the wall.

And with each harvest season, the fields glow with a brilliant golden color. The villages and hamlets become bustling and lively...

Whenever I pass through villages like these, the simple beauty of the Vietnamese countryside unfolds, familiar and endearing: harvesting here, carrying loads there… Deeper into the village, I encounter scenes of rice and straw being dried…

A feeling, perhaps a stirring in the heart, arises upon encountering those familiar images. Those images of hardworking beauty evoke deep memories in us.
