The delegation inspected 4 establishments in Dong Hoi City, including: the collective kitchen of TTH Quang Binh General Hospital, Pho Bien restaurant (Pho Bien restaurant Co., Ltd.), Winmart+ QBH2 (Wincommerce General Trading Service Joint Stock Company), Pham Thi Chien business household and the collective kitchen of the Central Law College.
At the establishments, the working group inspected records, documents, and necessary procedures in food safety regulations for food and beverage establishments, collective kitchens, and restaurants; conditions for ensuring food safety; equipment, tools, and people as stipulated in the Food Safety Law and circulars of the ministries of Health, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Industry and Trade; implementation of food traceability, etc.
The delegation also conducted rapid tests to check food safety standards according to regulations for some food samples.
According to Deputy Head of the Provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department, Deputy Head of the interdisciplinary inspection team Nguyen Hai Ly, through the inspection, most establishments have complied well with the provisions of the law in the business of food and beverage, collective kitchens, and restaurants. However, some establishments still have some shortcomings and limitations, such as: Not being proactive in controlling and checking archived records; food preservation issues still have limitations; not participating in timely training courses on food safety... The team has reminded the establishments to correct according to regulations.
The interdisciplinary inspection during the Food Safety Action Month 2025 will be conducted from April 17-24 in Dong Hoi City, Bo Trach, Ba Don Town, Quang Trach, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy.
