On the morning of July 9, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and the Provincial Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association solemnly organized the Launching Ceremony of the 2024 Green Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in Dak Lak Province.
The 2024 Green Summer Youth Union Campaign of Dak Lak province was organized in 15 districts, towns and cities in Dak Lak province with the participation of 7,220 Youth Union soldiers. Of which, the local Youth Union force is 7,040 young people; the provincial force includes 12 specialized teams with 180 soldiers divided into 07 groups of activities, specifically: Group supporting the implementation of projects and youth work to build new rural areas; Group supporting the implementation of the contents of "International integration"; Group supporting the activities "For beloved juniors"; Group supporting the activities "Preserving national cultural identity"; Group supporting the activities "Digital transformation of the community"; Group supporting the activities "Young volunteer intellectuals" and Group supporting the activities "Communication".
In addition, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the formation and development of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, promote the tradition of the provincial volunteer movement; create a playground for union members and young people to promote creativity and enthusiasm when participating in volunteer activities in the Green Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2024, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union launched the "Volunteer Moments" photo and video clip contest. The time is from July 9 to 22, 2024; the results will be announced and awarded at the Green Summer Campaign 2024.
In order to support the fronts in implementing youth projects and tasks to contribute to the construction of new rural areas; at the launching ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee supported 03 youth projects to build volleyball courts in Cu Mgar, Krong Pak, and Krong Buk districts with an implementation cost of 10,000,000 VND/project.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Y Le Pas Tor - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union said: The 2024 Green Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is a campaign of special significance, marking the 25-year history of volunteering by young people nationwide in particular, and young people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province in general. With the intelligence and enthusiasm of youth, it is hoped that the volunteers will bring the knowledge they have accumulated in school and in life to share and help the people; contribute to strengthening solidarity, gathering young people; consolidate and improve the quality of the Youth Union and Association.
