To celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam's tourism industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2023), on the afternoon of July 9, the Department of Tourism organized a conference to launch the smart tourism software application "Ninhbinhtourisminfo" and the Ninh Binh tourism promotion platforms on social media called "Impressions of Ninh Binh".
Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Song Tung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the National Tourism Administration. Also present were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Tourism, the Provincial Tourism Association, the Culture and Information Departments of districts and cities; and representatives of tourism businesses in the area.
Currently, tourism activities in the province have recovered and grown strongly compared to previous years due to the control of the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, with the rapid development of the 4.0 technological revolution, the application of technology to contribute to tourism development is essential in order to introduce Ninh Binh's tourism products to domestic and international tourists.
The official launch of the pilot program and the full implementation of the Ninh Binh province smart tourism system will enhance the attractiveness of the destination, providing a significant boost to Ninh Binh's tourism products, helping them achieve their rightful place and attract more tourists. The application of smart tourism software is a major step forward for Ninh Binh's tourism industry.
Therefore, along with focusing on developing the province's strengths and unique tourism products, and building new tourism products that meet new market trends, all levels, sectors, and businesses need to continue promoting digital transformation and applying information technology in tourism management and development. They should also urgently complete the project to build a wifi system and smart tourism kiosks at tourist areas and attractions, and the smart tour guide project, etc.
At the conference, delegates and tourism businesses heard presentations on smart tourism software applications; instructions on installing and experiencing the "Ninhbinhtourisminfo" smart tourism app; presentations on marketing plans on the Department of Tourism's websites and Ninh Binh tourism promotion platforms on social media called "Impressive Ninh Binh"; and the launch of the Enter Ninh Binh tourism software.
