Kinhtedothi - On December 11, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH), Son La Provincial Police held a ceremony to launch the special elite Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Team.

Son La Police was selected as one of 10 local police nationwide to pilot the establishment of a special elite Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team. The launch of the special elite Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team aims to concretize the goals and tasks in Project No. 10 on "Building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force".

The Son La Province Special Elite Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team consists of 21 excellent officers and soldiers, selected from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police units of districts and cities, who are well-trained, have extremely high professional skills, good health, and high professionalism, and can undertake all difficult, arduous, and dangerous tasks.

The team is equipped with modern fire fighting and rescue equipment and vehicles, with the function and task of handling complex, serious, and specific fires, explosions, incidents, and accidents, so that it can mobilize and promptly and effectively handle large-scale, complex fire, explosion, accident, and incident situations occurring in the province, region, and internationally when required.

After establishment, the members of the Team will maintain regular and periodic training and exercises; organize group training, conduct each fire, explosion, accident, and complex incident situation; deploy in-depth training programs, and be ready to respond quickly and effectively to any emergency situation that may arise.
