Launching postage stamps to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Army

Kinhtedothi - The postage stamp set commemorating the Founding Day of the Vietnam People's Army and the National Defense Day has just been issued, including 4 designs: Born from the People, Fighting for the People; Determined to Fight, Determined to Win; Ready to Fight to Protect the Fatherland; Army and People of One Will.

On December 18, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), the Ministry of National Defense coordinated with Vietnam Post Corporation to specially issue the stamp set "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th Anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024)".

The stamp set consists of 4 designs in a concise graphic style, with consistent content and images, arranged in chronological order. The stamp set represents the history and heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army in the struggle for national independence and the modernization of the Vietnam People's Army. The 80th Anniversary Logo of the Vietnam People's Army is arranged throughout the stamp designs.

Specifically, the four designs of the stamp set include: Born from the people, fighting for the people; Determined to fight, determined to win; Ready to fight to protect the Fatherland; Army and people have one will.

In which, the stamps have shown messages such as: "From the people, fighting for the people" is the nature and development law of the Vietnam People's Army; Determination to fight and victory is a basic characteristic of the Vietnam People's Army; The Vietnam People's Army is always ready to fight, train and produce; Solidarity and the close relationship "The army and the people have one will" have become a noble tradition of the Vietnam People's Army.

The stamp set "Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th Anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024)" has a size of 43 x 32 (mm); the face values ​​are 4,000 VND, 4,000 VND, 4,000 VND, 15,000 VND respectively, designed by artist Nguyen Du, Vietnam Post Corporation, supplied on the postal network from December 18, 2024 to June 30, 2026.

Previously, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued a number of special stamp sets on the occasions of the 15th, 20th, 35th, 40th, and 50th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
