Introducing the coach of Dong A Thanh Hoa Club

According to the representative of Dong A Thanh Hoa Club, after a period of negotiation, head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner and the club's leadership agreed on the terms of the contract and signed it with the goal of improving the team's performance.

New coach Tomislav Steinbruckner will work with assistants Mai Xuan Hop, Do Van Phuc, and Hoang Thanh Tung.

Coach Tomislav Steinbruckner, 59, played professionally in Croatia and ended his playing career in Singapore.

He started his coaching career in 2008 and made his mark by helping Terengganu win the 2023 Malaysia Cup runner-up position. In October 2024, he parted ways with the club after a series of winless matches.

Sharing with the media and fans at the launch ceremony, new head coach Tomislav Steinbruckner said:

"I thank Dong A Thanh Hoa Club for trusting and inviting me to the head coach position. I am very happy to accompany the team.

I promise to do my best to bring success to the team and joy to Thanh Hoa fans. I am looking forward to playing with the team."

According to the leader of Dong A Thanh Hoa Club, coach Tomislav Steinbruckner's task at Thanh Hoa is to help the team overcome the difficult period after a series of 11 winless matches.

After the inauguration ceremony, the new coach will quickly start training to prepare for the upcoming important match. His debut match will be an away match at Hang Day Stadium against Hanoi FC on April 6.

Thanh Hoa is currently ranked 4th on the rankings with 26 points, only 1 and 2 points behind Hanoi FC and Viettel FC respectively. The opportunity to compete for a position in the top 3 of the Thanh team is still very open ahead.
