On November 30, in Moscow, more than 200 overseas Vietnamese who are originally from Chi Linh gathered and launched the Association of Compatriots. This is the second organization of compatriots in the province after the Hai Duong Association which has been operating effectively for a long time. Representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia attended and congratulated the Association.

In the Vietnamese community in Moscow, there are an estimated 400 people from Chi Linh, most of whom are overseas Vietnamese who have lived in Russia for more than 30 years, now reaching the second and third generations. They themselves have become the core and "Generous Benefactors" to establish a "small homeland" organization, aiming to unite fellow countrymen and neighbors, create conditions for exchange, learning, helping, loving, and supporting each other, and joining hands to build and develop a united and strong Association in Russia.

Mr. Ba also said that in response to the policy of great national unity of the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, with the encouragement of the Embassy, as well as the desire to motivate and unite the young generations born and raised in Russia with the common roots, the Liaison Committee of the Chi Linh people held a preparatory meeting on September 28, 2024, unanimously elected businessman Bui Ba Vuong, a prestigious person in the community, as Chairman of the Association and took November 30 every year as the founding day of the Association.
