We arrived at Regiment 88 in early April 2025. Although the weather turned hot and sunny, the unit's training ground was still bustling with enthusiasm and determination to train. The young soldiers, in uniforms drenched in sweat and the sun and wind of the training ground, remained calm and confident in every key point, movement, and training topic.

In the first 3 months, new soldiers are trained in physical strength, learn the army management regulations and are equipped with basic knowledge of military, politics , logistics and technology. Specifically: Tactics, infantry combat techniques, focusing on 3 explosions (shooting live ammunition with AK submachine guns, lesson 1 in 3 positions: lying, kneeling, standing; setting off explosives and throwing grenades far and hitting the target".

Training is organized from low to high, from easy to difficult, focusing on practice; training officers closely follow soldiers on the training ground and training grounds.

To help soldiers feel secure in their work and study, in addition to caring for their material lives, the unit has organized activities such as: comrades' birthdays; youth forums; regularly creating conditions for families to contact and encourage their children on holidays and breaks; establishing a zalo group connecting the Army's rear, so that soldiers' families can feel secure when their children join the unit.
