Resolutely carry out compensation and site clearance work

Thanks to the strengthening of site clearance work, the Project on Investment in Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Song Cong II Industrial Park, Phase 2, was implemented smoothly.

Since the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of Song Cong City has directed the implementation of compensation and site clearance (GPMB) for 32 projects; issued land recovery decisions, approved compensation plans, and supported GPMB for an area of ​​22.37 hectares, with a total compensation value of 142.33 billion VND.

Particularly for the Song Cong II Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project, Phase 2, the city has completed the Working Group to strengthen the implementation of compensation for site clearance. The City Land Fund Development Center established a Declaration and Review Group, regularly working directly at the site. The project has approved the compensation plan for a total area of ​​over 88.93/120.72 hectares, the approved compensation amount is 332.18 billion VND.

Regarding resettlement, Song Cong City has allocated 35 resettlement plots to households, families and individuals, with a total area of ​​over 5,000m2. Particularly for the Project of Investment in Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Song Cong II Industrial Park Phase 2, the city has issued a decision to allocate land to 45/158 households whose land was recovered and had to relocate.

At the Conference, representatives of specialized departments and offices of Song Cong City said that the progress of land acquisition and clearance for some projects was not guaranteed. The main reason was the slow construction of resettlement areas; the mechanisms and policies under the 2024 Land Law and guiding and implementing documents had some changes, some households in the same project had their compensation value reduced compared to the old policy, so they did not agree.

Concluding the Conference, the leader of Song Cong City directed the specialized departments and offices to continue focusing on implementing compensation and site clearance work; speeding up the progress of project implementation, especially key projects, the Project on Investment, Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Song Cong II Industrial Park, Phase 2.
