- On April 15, the Department of Finance informed that the unit has just decided to transfer public assets such as houses, headquarters land and accompanying machinery and equipment among 6 departments and branches after restructuring the apparatus with a total remaining value of nearly 50.7 billion VND of 106 types of assets.
Specifically, the Department of Finance has decided to transfer public assets such as the old house and land of the Ethnic Minorities Committee and the accompanying machinery and equipment from the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion to the Department of Construction for management and use with a total original asset value of nearly 20 billion VND, the remaining value of 18.6 billion VND of 28 types; transfer public assets such as the old house and land of the Department of Planning and Investment and the accompanying machinery, equipment, tools and instruments from the Department of Finance to the Department of Home Affairs for management and use with a total original asset value of 35.2 billion VND, the remaining value of 29.1 billion VND of 64 types; Transferring public assets such as houses, land of the headquarters of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (old) and accompanying machinery and equipment from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion for management and use with a total original asset value of nearly 4.8 billion VND, the remaining value of nearly 3 billion VND of 14 types.
This adjustment is due to the fact that after the organizational restructuring, the Departments of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Finance; Culture, Sports and Tourism have now been assigned new headquarters and no longer need to use the old agencies' premises, land and machinery and equipment. The transfer of assets is also aimed at expanding the headquarters and improving the efficiency of public assets use for the new agencies and units.
From now until May 12, the above agencies and units subject to the transfer of public assets will hand over and receive assets according to regulations; perform asset increase and decrease accounting according to the current accounting regime; perform asset ownership and usage rights registration and report asset changes according to regulations.
Currently, the Department of Finance continues to review, inventory and evaluate public assets of agencies and units after arrangement and develop a handling plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for further approval.
