For Vietnamese Stature Fund sponsors over 1 billion VND to Central Maternity Hospital

The sponsorship reception ceremony took place in a cozy atmosphere at the Central Maternity Hospital.

This is the 7th time that the For Vietnamese Stature Fund has accompanied the Central Maternity Hospital, raising the total sponsorship value over the years to more than 3.6 billion VND.

Since 2017, the Fund for Vietnamese Stature and the Fund for Poor Patients have continuously supported patients and pregnant women in difficult circumstances, ethnic minorities from poor and near-poor households, through practical activities such as: supporting hospital fees, giving nutritious meals, organizing zero-dong markets, giving gifts on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, International Children's Day or Social Work Day. Up to now, nearly 10,000 people have benefited from the sponsorship activities of the two units.

The Central Maternity Hospital is a tertiary hospital with leading expertise, a place to treat complex cases and also a place to see many seriously ill patients in difficult circumstances. These patients all want to be treated at the highest level such as the Central Maternity Hospital and are in great need of support.

Patients from poor households such as Ms. NTL ( Ha Giang ), a Tay ethnic group, whose only source of income is farming, but who has ovarian cancer; Ms. HTT (Phu Tho) who has ankylosing spondylitis, is at risk of premature birth of her second child at 34.5 weeks old, is in poor health, has no income; or Ms. VTS (Lai Chau) who has severe anemia and uterine polyps, is a Mong ethnic group, all have access to support through the Poor Patients Fund right at the hospital.

The continued sponsorship from the For Vietnamese Stature Fund has been and is contributing to the Central Maternity Hospital to help more unfortunate patients right at the hospital.

People's Physician, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Duy Anh spoke to acknowledge the Fund's contributions at the event.

Caring for patients in difficult circumstances has always been one of the priorities of the For Vietnamese Stature Fund in its charitable and humanitarian activities. With the support of TH Group and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, in addition to annual activities with the Central Obstetrics Hospital to support patients, mothers and newborns in difficult circumstances, the For Vietnamese Stature Fund also regularly sponsors heart surgeries, rehabilitation treatment for pediatric patients, gives free milk and meals, co-organizes zero-dong markets at hospitals, supports medical examination and treatment programs for people in remote areas, islands and border areas; donates medical equipment and supplies at hospitals, supports frontline doctors and nurses nationwide.

Not only accompanying hospitals, the For Vietnamese Stature Fund, TH Group and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank also accompany the Government in activities to support the health sector. Particularly in the activities to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, the units have deployed the donation of ventilators, medical supplies, nutritional drinks to support frontline doctors and nurses, people in epidemic areas and support the vaccine fund with a total value of 109 billion VND.
