Quy Nhon strives to create resources and develop party members

One of the important tasks of Party building is to develop Party members. To contribute to the completion of this task, in Quy Nhon City, local socio-political organizations have made great efforts in resource creation.

Looking back at the results of introducing outstanding members for the Party admission work in 2024, Quy Nhon City Youth Union has achieved and exceeded the set target in the work of admitting Party members within the age group. The Youth Union bases have made a list of 675 outstanding members for consideration of admission, thereby admitting 430 new Party members, accounting for 81.7% of the total number of newly admitted Party members in 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Luong Hai, Secretary of Quy Nhon City Youth Union, shared: "2024 is a year when Quy Nhon City Youth Union focuses on leadership and direction of grassroots youth unions to focus on reviewing and introducing quality sources for the Party to consider admission, building targets and plans from the beginning of the year, and urging and reminding grassroots unions monthly and quarterly."

With 13 members introduced to the Party for consideration in 2024, the Youth Union of Binh Dinh Environment Joint Stock Company is one of the grassroots youth organizations with outstanding results in introducing outstanding members to the Party.

Mr. Nguyen Thao, Secretary of the Youth Union of Binh Dinh Environment Joint Stock Company, said: “We promote propaganda and education so that the Youth Union members in the company have a deep awareness of the Party, clearly understand the meaning and purpose of being in the Party's ranks, thereby building the right motivation to strive to join the Party. The Youth Union branches always pay attention to and do a good job of creating resources, building models of union members with good expertise and solid professional skills in line with the actual situation.”

The City Women's Union at all levels also introduced 291 outstanding female members for the Party to consider. As a result, 106 members attended the Party awareness training class, an increase of 38 members compared to 2023. Thereby, 38 outstanding members were admitted to the Party, an increase of 27 comrades compared to 2023.

Despite many efforts in the introduction work, many outstanding members of the Women's Union do not attend the Party awareness training class. The reason is that some members are older, do not meet the educational requirements or their families do not create conditions.

Meanwhile, the City Labor Federation has organized thematic conferences to promote the introduction of union members to the Party; propagate to business owners and workers to implement the policy of establishing union organizations and introduce union members to the Party for consideration of admission. Thereby, 399 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party for consideration, reaching 79.8% of the target assigned by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; 214 comrades were admitted to the Party, an increase of 46 comrades compared to 2023.

According to Quy Nhon City Party Committee Standing Deputy Secretary Dang Manh Cuong, among many solutions, it is necessary to pay attention to promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and grassroots Party committees in participating in building sources and developing Party members. Accordingly, the Youth Union, Labor Federation, and Women's Union continue to innovate the content and forms of activities; build and expand models of activities to attract members and union members to participate. Thereby, discovering and nurturing positive factors, creating sources to introduce to the Party for consideration and admission.

In 2025, the City Labor Federation strives to introduce at least 600 union members to the Party committees under the City Party Committee for consideration, of which at least 300 union members will attend Party awareness training classes. The Women's Union strives to introduce at least 400 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, of which at least 290 outstanding union members will attend Party awareness training classes. The City Youth Union strives to have 70% or more of admitted party members who are young union members; introduce at least 900 outstanding union members, 600 outstanding union members to attend Party awareness training classes. Despite many difficulties, political and social organizations are making efforts for the new goals of this important political task.

“From the direction of the City Party Committee, the City Youth Union has built a specific allocation table for the target of introducing outstanding members, the target of admitting Party members in the year from outstanding members is 75% or more. In addition, we continue to urge and direct the subordinate Youth Unions to closely follow the plan, regularly update and report on the implementation progress to promptly remove difficulties in the implementation process,” Mr. Nguyen Luong Hai, Secretary of the Quy Nhon City Youth Union, shared more.
