On March 13, a representative of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism said that from March 22 to 31, the UIM F1H2O International Professional Powerboat Race and the UIM-ABP AQUABIKE Water Motorcycle Race will take place in the coastal city of Quy Nhon. These are two world-famous large-scale sporting events, promising to attract about 30-50 thousand tourists to Binh Dinh.

Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province, said that the province has 435 accommodation establishments with a total of 13,645 rooms, including 1 5-star hotel, 12 4-star hotels, 15 3-star hotels, 79 1-2 star hotels and 328 standard accommodation establishments. Up to now, 13 3-4 star hotels have registered to reduce room rates by 30-50%; food, beverage and other service prices are reduced by 10% from March 1 to April 15. Most hotels have made early and thoughtful preparations to welcome tourists. "The Department has requested tourism businesses to prepare well in terms of facilities and human resources, improve service quality; ensure environmental sanitation, food hygiene and safety, security and safety for tourists...", Mr. Thanh said. Mr. Thanh also added that in the series of events taking place at the end of March, the Department of Tourism was assigned to organize the first Food Festival, creating a highlight within the framework of activities serving and supporting this race.
