As of the end of March, the province had 214,749 people participating in social insurance (both compulsory and voluntary), the social insurance coverage rate compared to the working-age labor force reached 41.49%. The number of people participating in unemployment insurance was 185,616 people, the unemployment insurance coverage rate compared to the labor force was 35.86%. In 2025, the Provincial People's Council assigned a target of 233,269 people participating in compulsory and voluntary social insurance. To complete the target, from now until the end of the year, units need to develop an additional 18,520 people to participate in compulsory and voluntary social insurance.

The whole province currently has 1,221,550 people participating in health insurance, reaching 95.7% of the population participating in health insurance. Localities with high compulsory social insurance coverage rates are Nha Trang city, Cam Lam district; localities with high voluntary social insurance coverage rates are Cam Lam district, Cam Ranh city...
