In the first quarter of 2025, Tay Giang mobilized more than 523 million VND to support the elimination of temporary houses.

Mr. Briu Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Giang district and Head of the District's Mobilization Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses said that in the first quarter report of 2025 (as of February 14), the District's Mobilization Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses mobilized and received more than 523 million VND from support sources inside and outside the district.

Of which, the mobilized source into the account of the District Mobilization Committee is more than 132 million VND and the mobilized source from the people is more than 391 million VND.

At the same time, the Provincial Mobilization Committee received more than 4.9 billion VND to support 245 houses; including 189 new houses and 56 houses repaired. The District Mobilization Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses has been transferring support funds to 175 households according to the beneficiary list from the communes.

According to Mr. Briu Quan, in the coming time, the District's Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses will continue to mobilize resources from the province and people's support to receive and distribute to communes in a timely manner, ensuring the completion of 407 houses for beneficiaries according to Resolution No. 90 and compensation according to Resolution No. 1719 of the Prime Minister and Resolution No. 27 of the Provincial People's Council.

In addition, coordinate with agencies and departments to review and propose to add the number of households approved under Decision No. 1245 of the Provincial People's Committee for 113 houses, which are currently showing signs of deterioration, dilapidation, and damage.

"We continue to call for mobilization, promote disbursement to localities, promptly provide funds for people to complete their housing soon, and ensure the progress of eliminating temporary houses in the district before June 30, 2025" - Mr. Briu Quan shared.
