Also according to the approved planning project, before 2030, Dong Nai will connect the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien urban railway line to Trang Bom district. After 2030, build urban railway lines such as the new administrative center urban railway line - Bien Hoa airport; Bien Hoa - Nhon Trach - Long Thanh urban railway line; Bien Hoa - Trang Bom - Long Khanh urban railway line; Long Khanh - Cam My - Long Thanh urban railway line; Bien Hoa airport - Dong Nai river urban railway line (connecting to Binh Duong province).
Regarding regional railway connections, Dong Nai will follow the railway network planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Specifically, upgrading the North - South railway; investing in building new Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang routes; Thu Thiem - Long Thanh airport light railway. At the same time, research and invest in a new railway connecting from Bien Hoa - Vung Tau railway to Phuoc An port.
