At around 10:24 a.m. on November 28, an Airbus plane with a white main color and the words "Kingdom of Cambodia" (PV) on its body landed at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi.
Riding on it was Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, the second foreign head of state that President Luong Cuong received this week, after Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son welcomed the King and the Cambodian delegation. Also welcoming them were Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang and a number of officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This afternoon, a state-level welcoming ceremony for Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni is scheduled to take place at the Presidential Palace under the chairmanship of President Luong Cuong. The two leaders will then hold talks.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang said that during this visit, Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni will have talks and meetings with all of Vietnam's highest-ranking leaders.
"Through this, Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni wants to convey to the leaders and people of Vietnam the warm, close friendship between the leaders of Cambodia and the leaders and people of Vietnam," Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang told VNA.
The visit is expected to contribute to enhancing political trust between the two sides and promoting cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, as well as other fields.
King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia was born on May 14, 1953 in Phnom Penh.
On October 14, 2004, he was unanimously crowned King of Cambodia by the members of the Royal Council, succeeding his father, King Norodom Sihanouk, who had abdicated earlier.
He is considered a symbol of unity and reconciliation in the land of pagodas and is highly respected and loved by the Cambodian people for his kindness.
As King of Cambodia, he paid his first state visit to Vietnam in 2006.
His last visit to Vietnam was in 2018. This visit to Vietnam is even more meaningful as it takes place on the 20th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
