This holiday includes 2 National Day holidays, 1 weekly day off and 1 compensatory day off for the weekly day off as prescribed by the Labor Code.
With the National Day holiday schedule (September 2), the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) requests agencies and units to arrange and organize their work departments reasonably to handle work continuously, ensuring good service to organizations and people.
Agencies and units that do not have a fixed Saturday and Sunday weekly holiday schedule will base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule.
For employees who are not civil servants or public employees, the employer decides to choose the National Day holiday option in 2023.
Accordingly, workers will have Saturday, September 2 off and can choose one of two days, Friday (September 1) or Sunday (September 3).
