
The National Assembly listened to Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang, authorized by the Prime Minister, present a Report on adjusting a number of contents of Resolution 53/2017/QH14 dated November 24, 2017 of the National Assembly on the feasibility study report of the Land Acquisition, Compensation, Support and Resettlement Project of Long Thanh International Airport, and Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh presented a report on the verification of this content on the morning of October 26.
On the same morning, after listening to the report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the Draft Law on Water Resources (amended) by the Standing Committee member of the National Assembly and Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents with different opinions of the above draft law.

Including the following contents: Principles of management, protection, regulation, distribution, development, exploitation, use of water resources, prevention, control and overcoming of harmful effects caused by water; protection of water resources and restoration of water resources; regulation and distribution of water resources; declaration, registration and licensing of water resources; economical and efficient use of water, water circulation and reuse; economic tools, policies and resources for water resources. The submitting agency and the agency in charge of the review coordinated to clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
On the same afternoon, the National Assembly listened to the report on explanation, acceptance and revision of the Draft Law on Housing (amended) by Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee Hoang Thanh Tung.

Next, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of issues with different opinions, especially those related to the form of land use for investment in the construction of commercial housing projects; renovation and reconstruction of apartment buildings; development of multi-storey, multi-apartment housing for individuals; social housing built with public investment capital; construction of workers' accommodation; review and careful study of regulations on fire prevention and fighting safety in mini-apartments;...
