Regarding some key tasks in 2025, the Secretary General of the National Assembly said that from now until January 2025, in preparation for the extraordinary session in February 2025, the agencies of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, and agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will focus on implementing the summary of Resolution No. 18.
In addition, agencies must complete projects, regulations, and documents to ensure progress for submission to the Central Conference in mid-February 2025, especially tasks that need to be completed before December 31, 2024 and January 15, 2025 as required by the Central Steering Committee.
In 2025, the National Assembly Party Delegation will coordinate with relevant agencies to develop and complete the Project to end the activities of the National Assembly Party Delegation, establish a National Assembly Party Committee directly under the Central Committee, propose to the Politburo to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and prescribe functions and tasks in accordance with reality.

In particular, the agencies have advised and served the successful organization of 6 sessions and 33 meetings - the largest number of National Assembly sessions and National Assembly Standing Committee meetings in a year since the beginning of the term. The work according to the plan, the annual work program and the arising tasks were basically completed on schedule, ensuring quality. The policies and instructions on innovation in thinking in law-making, innovation, streamlining of the organizational apparatus and anti-waste were promptly disseminated and directed for implementation throughout the agency.
In addition, research, consulting, and professional and effective service work has many improvements and innovations, especially innovations in legislative thinking and in developing meeting and session agendas; the sending of meeting and session documents has been improved, and the progress of issuing conclusions of the National Assembly Standing Committee has been significantly improved, especially in the second half of 2024.
