The latest episode of the show Husband and Wife welcomes the participation of the couple Tieu Hue (real name Vi Thi Hue, 26 years old) and Le Van Kim (38 years old). Tieu Hue works as an office worker in Binh Duong, while Van Kim is on the path of composing music.
During her final year of 12th grade, Tieu Hue was surfing social media and accidentally saw a guy texting her. This guy’s profile picture was a guitar with a flower attached. She felt curious about this person so she replied to the message, addressing him as “you” and “I”.
"Back in 2015, Tieu Hue's profile picture was not clear. But I still felt that Tieu Hue was pretty. At that time, I was working in Binh Duong," Van Kim shared.
The guy was surprised because his girlfriend in real life was different from the photo (Video: NL).
However, it was not until 6 months later that they met in person for the first time at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. At that time, Tieu Hue focused on studying for the university entrance exam but failed. After hearing that his girlfriend had failed the university entrance exam, Van Kim called and said: "Come in here, study accounting and work at the same time. I'll take care of it."
The groom's family added that in the past, Tieu Hue was a good student and planned to take the exam to become a police officer. She scored 26.5 points on the university entrance exam, just 0.5 points short of passing. But if Tieu Hue had entered the school, the young couple would not have had the chance to meet.
During the 6 months they had not met in person, Van Kim had bought gifts and clothes for his girlfriend. He knew that if she passed the university entrance exam, they would not be able to see each other.
"When I sent gifts to Tieu Hue, I didn't expect anything in return. The first time I saw Tieu Hue's picture, I felt her sincerity. I may not have the fate, but helping Tieu Hue is still worth it," Van Kim said.

When hearing her boyfriend's suggestion to move to Binh Duong, Tieu Hue discussed the matter with her father. Both father and daughter agreed with this idea. Before that, Tieu Hue's father and Van Kim had talked and got along quite well.
After that, Van Kim booked a plane ticket for Tieu Hue and her father to Binh Duong. The groom's family took a taxi to pick her up and told his girlfriend to wear white. As soon as he saw Tieu Hue in real life, the young man thought to himself: "Why is she not like in the picture, she's so ugly."
But he did not express this openly and still waved goodbye to Tieu Hue's father. While sitting in the taxi, he continued to think: "Do I have to spend my life with this girl? Why does she look different in photos than in real life?". He said that at that time, he felt quite disappointed.
When she saw Van Kim getting off, Tieu Hue felt lucky that he "wasn't lame". She said: "Why is he so ugly? I can't imagine my husband being so ugly". When she got into the taxi, she had the same thought as Van Kim: "Could it be that I'm stuck with this guy?".

That night, the son-in-law and his father-in-law sat and talked and confided in each other. Van Kim shared that his father-in-law was a straightforward person, and when he was satisfied, it was easy, but when he was not satisfied, he would not accept.
Partly trusting this son-in-law, Tieu Hue's father agreed to let his daughter come here to start a business. But when he returned home, he cried as he walked, worried about his daughter. Tieu Hue's mother wanted her to go home, because she was worried about what kind of person the guy she met online was.
The girl's family said she didn't know why she agreed to stay in Binh Duong with Van Kim. But she felt that Van Kim was sincere with her.
