In Hanoi, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) organized the Vietnam Women's Awards Ceremony and a series of events for the National Finals of the "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" Competition in 2024.

Quang Tri is honored to have a representative receiving the Vietnam Women's Award, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao, Director of QT Hung Dung Company Limited, Ho Xa town, Vinh Linh district, and a project that won the Second Prize in the 2024 National "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" Contest, the project "Developing the value of Huong Hoa organic coffee" by Ms. Nong Thi Hanh, Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district.

After 12 years, Quang Tri has another representative awarded the Vietnam Women's Award. This award honors the dedication, talent and creativity of outstanding women in all areas of social life, contributing to promoting gender equality and the advancement of Vietnamese women.

As the Director of Hung Dung QT Company Limited, Ms. Anh Dao has strived to bring about socio-economic efficiency and benefits to the unit and community, create jobs, generate income for many local workers, and contribute to the cause of national construction and defense. In addition, Ms. Anh Dao herself is a typical example of self-study, self-training, entrepreneurial spirit and will with many projects winning high prizes in provincial and national startup competitions, notably the Second Prize in the 2023 National "Women's Startups to Promote Indigenous Resources" Competition organized by the Vietnam Women's Union.

In addition, as a member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Xa Town Women's Union, Ms. Anh Dao has actively participated in community development activities, for equality and for the development of women, humanitarian charity, and developing the women's movement of the unit, industry, and locality.

With her tireless efforts and contributions, she has received many certificates of merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Women's Union and authorities at all levels. Notably, in 2023, she was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for "Outstanding achievements in studying, working and producing, contributing to building socialism and defending the Fatherland".

For the start-up project "Developing the value of Huong Hoa organic coffee", taking advantage of the coffee resources that are widely grown and developed massively in many localities in Huong Hoa district, Ta Lu Khe Sanh Coffee Company Limited of Ms. Nong Thi Hanh has come up with the idea of ​​linking to develop sustainable livelihoods for Van Kieu people, organizing farmers to produce coffee in a sustainable way, building coffee material areas that adapt to climate change and developing to become one of the leading units in the high-quality coffee industry in Vietnam.

The project is highly appreciated for its application of scientific and technical advances in production, application of closed production processes, ensuring food safety and hygiene, contributing to minimizing damage to forests and increasing carbon storage, bringing high economic efficiency when creating regular jobs, stabilizing raw material and fresh coffee purchase prices for ethnic minority women, contributing to economic empowerment for women in the family and society.

These are typical examples of the entrepreneurial spirit of Quang Tri women, inspiring and motivating women across the province to start businesses, contributing to enhancing the role and position of women, promoting gender equality, and developing the local socio-economy.
