The Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee requested these units to develop more tourism products so that visitors can experience swimming in Ha Long Bay.

Previously, on May 8, Thanh Nien had an article: Why does Ha Long Bay only have one licensed beach? Accordingly, Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) has hundreds of beautiful natural beaches but has not been exploited for a long time. The entire heritage bay is vast but has only one beach, where thousands of people crowd together every day.

Not only that, to experience swimming in Ha Long Bay is not easy. Because tourists have to buy tickets for route number 2 to go to Ti Top island to swim, but this place is often overloaded.

According to the Ha Long Bay Management Board, to resolve the above paradox, this unit has just sent a proposal to the Ha Long City People's Committee on approving the management and exploitation plan of the Tra San - Cong Do beach cluster on Ha Long Bay.

Ti Top Island is the only open beach in Ha Long Bay today.

This area covers an area of about 250 hectares, owning many beautiful natural sand beaches, with many coral reefs and a rich diversity of underwater creatures in the overall heritage site. Tra San - Cong Do beach cluster belongs to tour route No. 4, about 25 km from Tuan Chau International Port, next to Cong Do overnight accommodation area on Ha Long Bay.

This beach cluster consists of 8 natural sand beaches formed from coral debris and mollusk shells, with an area of 100 to 800m2, enough to serve tourists' experiences; of which 4 beaches can serve tourists' activities throughout the day without being affected by the ebb and flow of the tide.

In addition, this area not only serves the needs of tourists for swimming but also offers kayaking, sightseeing, and exploring natural landscapes.
