Quang Ninh: Total retail sales of goods and consumer services increased by 10.13%

Fairs and markets introducing agricultural products have contributed to increasing total retail sales of goods.

Of which, retail revenue reached over VND869 billion, up 10.07%; revenue from accommodation and catering activities reached over VND82 billion, up 9.9%; revenue from other service industries was VND48 billion, up 11.56% over the same period.

Passenger and cargo transportation activities grew strongly due to the high demand for passenger transportation and cargo circulation for New Year, Lunar New Year and spring festival season. Revenue of the transportation industry reached nearly 49 billion VND, up 10.41% over the same period.

In the coming time, the district will focus on managing the trade and service network well, ensuring the demand for goods and materials for production and consumption; strengthening market management and control to combat smuggling and trade fraud; promoting the organization of fairs and markets to introduce and bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas to encourage people of all walks of life to respond to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
