The 5,000-seat Quang Ninh Provincial Gymnasium is the venue chosen by the Ministry of Public Security to host the Asian Police Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to take place in early December 2024 with the participation of more than 2,500 delegates and athletes from 44 countries and territories in Asia. |

Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 3 (September 2024), more than 2,000 m2 of aluminum alloy decorative panels on the outside were peeled and broken. Many other items in the complex were damaged. |

A representative of the Quang Ninh Province Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works (the investor) said that about 70% of the project has been repaired. The construction unit has brought many specialized lifting machines and replacement materials to the foot of the project. |
