According to the Department of Tourism, in 2024, Quang Ninh will complete the target of welcoming 19 million visitors, of which international visitors will reach more than 3.5 million. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 46,460 billion VND.

In 2024, the number of domestic tourists participating in spring festivals, domestic tourists in summer, international tourists in autumn and winter, and tourists on holidays will grow well. Districts, towns, cities and a number of departments and branches in the province have actively organized many cultural, artistic, sports and commercial activities and events; built and developed new tourism products associated with local tourism resources, contributing to the recovery and strong development of tourism in Quang Ninh province.

Many new tourism products have been registered and put into service by localities, contributing to diversifying tourism products across the province, attracting visitors to localities in the province. The tourism space has been expanded, from the tourism center of Ha Long with the world heritage - natural wonder of Ha Long Bay, to date, Quang Ninh is widely known to tourists as a diverse land to experience all four seasons of the year: Cultural and spiritual tourism in Uong Bi, Dong Trieu; community tourism with the cultural identity of ethnic minority communities in Binh Lieu, Tien Yen; border tourism in Mong Cai... The 10 major international tourist markets to Quang Ninh remained stable, including: China, South Korea, Taiwan, the US, India, France, Australia, the UK, Germany, and Japan.
