To supplement human resources for the new school year, some districts, towns and cities of Quang Ninh have begun recruiting teachers according to assigned quotas.
Recently, the shortage of teachers has forced localities and schools in Quang Ninh province to flexibly transfer teachers to meet teaching needs. This has also partly affected the quality of education and training, especially educational institutions that are implementing fundamental and comprehensive reforms with many new subjects and new requirements.
According to statistics from the Quang Ninh provincial education sector, in the 2023-2024 school year, the entire Quang Ninh education sector is short of 2,579 workers, including 1,737 teachers, spread across most subjects, grades, and levels. In particular, the biggest shortage is primary school teachers, English teachers, Information Technology and Technology teachers, Arts teachers, etc.

To address this situation, last July, at the 19th Session, the 14th People's Council of Quang Ninh province passed a resolution deciding that the number of labor contracts in public preschool and general education institutions with regular expenditure guaranteed by the State in Quang Ninh province in 2024 is 1,145 targets.
In addition, the People's Council of Quang Ninh province also passed Resolution No. 213/NQ-HDND on approving the addition of 238 public preschool and general education positions in Quang Ninh province in 2024.
According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh, Mong Cai City is the locality that announced the recruitment of teachers and staff to work at public preschools and general education institutions for the 2024-2025 school year with the largest number in the whole province.
Specifically, Mong Cai City needs to recruit 282 teachers and staff in the education sector. Of which, there are 51 preschool teachers; 148 primary school teachers and staff and 83 secondary school teachers and staff. The time to receive application documents for the exam is from October 16, 2024 to October 29, 2024. Each candidate can only register to submit 2 applications for different positions.

Applicants can only submit their application for one job position at a unit that needs to recruit labor contracts. The application period is from October 21, 2024 to November 1, 2024.
The People's Committee of Ba Che district also announced the recruitment of civil servants to work at units under the education and training sector of Ba Che district in 2024, with a total recruitment target of 55 workers. Of which, preschool level is 6 targets; primary level is 41 targets; secondary level is 8 targets. Applicants can register 2 wishes. The application period is from October 14, 2024 to November 14, 2024.
