Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, has just assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to study the comments of relevant agencies and units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to consider submitting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for comments on the Project of the National Oil Refinery and Energy Center in Dung Quat Economic Zone.
In particular, Mr. Giang noted to the Department of Industry and Trade the operating model of the National Oil Refinery and Energy Center; specific mechanisms and policies proposed to be applied to the National Oil Refinery and Energy Center; a list of potential projects, priority investment calls in the petrochemical, new energy, clean energy industries, etc.
Along with that, Mr. Giang requested the Department of Industry and Trade to actively coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to complete and submit to the Prime Minister for approval the Project to build a National Refinery, Petrochemical and Energy Center in Dung Quat Economic Zone in 2024.
At the same time, Mr. Giang also requested the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai province to actively coordinate and proactively request the People's Committee of Binh Son district, relevant agencies and units to focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles to speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance for the following projects: Dung Quat Industrial Urban Area Project; Hoa Phat - Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex Project; VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project (Phase 1); projects at Dung Quat Gas Power Center and large-scale, spillover non-budgetary investment projects in the area; review and complete documents, ensuring the implementation of contents related to the Dung Quat Integrated Waste Treatment Complex Project according to regulations and instructions of the Provincial People's Committee...
