People from all walks of life have contributed over 153,000 working days; donated nearly 310,000 m2 of land to build rural infrastructure, contributed over 136 billion VND to build rural works and projects, contributing to the completion of criteria for building new rural communes, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural residential areas.
The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has responded to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", mobilizing and contributing over 132 billion VND to the "For the Poor" Fund. From there, it supported the construction and repair of 1,976 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households, with a value of over 105 billion VND. Livelihood support and social security programs of over 52 billion VND have been provided to poor and near-poor households to develop production and have the conditions to escape poverty sustainably; and contributed and supported the construction of hundreds of welfare works.
In particular, the “Connecting hearts” column coordinated by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has supported over 287 people in particularly difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 12 billion VND. The “Repaying gratitude” work has also been actively implemented by the Provincial Fatherland Front at all levels with an amount of more than 10.6 billion VND; supported the construction of 132 new gratitude houses with an amount of over 4 billion VND; mobilized organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to take care of and support 129 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers for life.
According to Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Quang Ngai province Bui Thi Quynh Van, in order for the Front's work to continue to develop, have a profound impact, bring about practical results, and contribute to the successful implementation of the set goals and tasks, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province to continue to promote propaganda work to raise awareness in the system and the whole society about the cause of great national unity, the position, role, functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period.
At the same time, deploy emulation movements of all levels, sectors, sectors and campaigns of social security programs with appropriate methods, bringing practical effects to the community and society. Strengthen the mobilization, gathering and solidarity of Quang Ngai people outside the province and abroad to return to their homeland to participate in socio-economic development, contributing together with the Party Committee, government and people in the province to successfully implement the goal of building Quang Ngai province to be increasingly developed.
