On May 29, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province said that the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Hoang Tuan, signed a document directing the inspection and clarification of the case of 6 people suffering from food poisoning after eating bread.
The health of patients treated at the hospital is gradually recovering.
Specifically, Mr. Tuan requested the provincial Department of Health to direct medical facilities where patients were hospitalized to focus on timely treatment for people with food poisoning.
At the same time, coordinate with the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City and relevant agencies and units to urgently inspect, verify and promptly handle relevant organizations and individuals in accordance with regulations; report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee.
As reported, late on May 24, many people bought bread at a food stall at the Agricultural Wholesale Market (Nghia Chanh Ward, Quang Ngai City) to eat.
The next morning, symptoms of stomach ache, vomiting... appeared so the family took him to the hospital for emergency care.
Through reception and treatment, Quang Ngai General Hospital initially identified 6 patients with food poisoning.
Currently, all 6 patients are being monitored and treated at the Tropical Diseases Department, Provincial General Hospital. Their health is temporarily stable, with no signs of serious complications.
