Quang Nam agreed to adjust and phase the progress of the Phu Thinh Urban Area project, requiring the entire project to be completed by the end of December 2025.
The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued a document agreeing to adjust and phase the progress of the Phu Thinh Urban Area housing construction investment project in Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc New Urban Area (Dien Ban).
Accordingly, by the end of March 2025, Phu Thinh Urban Area will complete land and construction procedures and begin construction on an area of approximately 10.77 hectares. By May 2025, construction will basically complete this area.
By the end of September 2025, Phu Thinh Urban Area must complete land and construction procedures and start construction on the remaining area of about 2.33 hectares. By the end of December 2025, construction will be completed and the entire project will be accepted and put into operation.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Nam, Phu Thinh Urban Area has a project scale of 13.10 hectares, a total investment of 121 billion VND, and a project implementation schedule of 18 months from October 2019 to April 2021. After that, the project was agreed to be adjusted by Quang Nam province until the end of September 2025.
Up to now, the project has basically completed the project's investment and construction procedures, including preparation, submission for appraisal and approval of the design; completion of procedures for approval of investment policy and approval of environmental impact assessment report.

The Phu Thinh Urban Area Project was implemented by the investor with a deposit to ensure project implementation with a deposit amount of 3.63 billion VND; the Provincial People's Committee agreed to refund 50% of the deposit amount in Official Dispatch No. 4249/UBND-KTN dated July 1, 2022.
The project has completed compensation and site clearance work with an area of 11.51/13.10 hectares; the remaining area of 1.59 hectares has not completed compensation and site clearance work.
