Quang Nam handles violations at National Highway 1 expansion project

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued an official dispatch requesting to inspect and handle violations related to the dismantling of guardrails, encroachment and illegal connections at the National Highway 1 expansion project (section Km996+889 - Km996+2189) and Tam Ky bridge.

According to the report from Project Management Board 5 (Vietnam Road Administration) on April 10, some households violated the regulations by dismantling the guardrail wall, encroaching, and illegally connecting to the National Highway 1 expansion project at the above location. Among them, there are Mr. Pham Van Hoanh and Ms. Tran Thi Dan Thi.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Nui Thanh District to direct the Tam Xuan 1 Commune Police, the Tam Xuan 1 Commune People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently inspect the scene and specifically review violations. At the same time, step up propaganda and mobilize people to comply with the law, restore the original status and re-install the dismantled guardrails to ensure traffic safety, project handover progress and road traffic safety and order.

In case of intentional non-compliance, the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district must strictly handle the case according to its authority or propose to the competent authority for resolution. The results of the inspection and handling must be reported to the Provincial People's Committee before April 25.
